Schrammek is headquartered in Essen, Germany where it is managed by Dr. med. Christine Schrammek-Drusio, dermatologist, skin specialist, and anti-aging expert. She took joined her family's company in 1980 after spending years working in a skin clinic and in private practice. When the company was founded over 50 years ago, it was the first in Germany to be considered a doctor brand- having an experienced dermatologist in charge of developing the products- and this philosophy of including medical knowledge in developing products has been with the company ever since. Today the Schrammek brand is represented in more than 50 countries throughout the globe.

Schrammek divides their products into 5 categories:
